The drugstore dm expands its leasing space at HGHI project Geschäftszentrum Mariendorfer Damm to around 880 sqm

The drugstore dm expands its previous leasing space at the groundfloor of HGHI project Geschäftszentrum Mariendorfer Damm (Mariendorfer Damm 292-298, 12107 Berlin) with an additional space of around 142 sqm. With the already leased space of 730 sqm, Germany’s leading drug retailer has now available a total area of around 880 sqm of retail space. The reconstruction work has already been completed.

“The dm-store offers a diverse range of products in the areas Beauty, Care, Nutrition, Health, Household, as well as Baby and Infant with a total of over 12,500 articles”, says Christiane von Roda. ,dm-responsible of the territory. The spectrum also covers numerous dm-services like the express collection or the service for passport photos, creating the perfect shopping experience. At the dm-child’s world parents will find anything they need for their offspring. From babyfood to care products to a large range of child’s clothing. Between the shelves there is much more to explore: The dm organic food assortment offers a lot of variety with over 1,100 products. There are around 550 articles of the dm-brand dmBio with among them vegan or gluten-free products. Brand new: a large photo service counter with many possibilities to design some creative memories like greeting cards, calendars, photo books and even canvas, poster or cups by yourself and take them away instantly.

Around 66.000 employees throughout Europe work at the dm drugstore in over 3,800 stores. In the currently 13 European countries dm had a turnover of 12,3 billion Euro in the fiscal year 2020/2021. In this period more than 42,000 dm-employees in Germany generated a turnover of 9,04 billion Euro. Among customers dm is the most popular food retailer, according to the result of the consumer survey “Kundenmonitor Deutschland 2021”. dm constantly strives to enhance processes within the company and respond to the demands of a sustainable development.

On a total area of 24.000 sqm in the popular district of Berlin Tempelhof-Schöneberg (Mariendorf) HGHI Holding GmbH has modernised and extended an existing retail center right next to the horse racecourse (Trabrennbahn) into an attractive business center, combining retail and office space. Completed in the second quarter of 2020, the ground floor of the HGHI project Geschäftszentrum Mariendorfer Damm comprises 7.000 sqm with varied use concepts including retail, service and restaurants. A total of 9.000 sqm of office space is located on the upper floors 1-3 of the building.
