Management assistance

Are you a communicative, flexible and resilient person? You always keep a cool head even in stressful situations? Then you've come to the right place! As an assistant to the management, you will experience day-to-day business first-hand and actively support the management with your organizational know-how. You will act as an important communication interface between management, internal departments and external service providers.

Construction Department

Our construction department offers architects, civil and structural engineers, construction technicians and assistants demanding major projects as well as exciting challenges. The areas of responsibility range from technical and commercial project responsibility to tenders for construction services and quality and cost control. Whether shopping mall, office or residential space - as a team member of our construction department you will develop and realize unique projects.


Within the leasing sector, HGHI has different specializations in commercial, office and residential leasing. In the retail sector, our leasing managers develop solid leasing concepts to meet the changing market and location conditions. By putting together an attractive mix of sectors, we create the basis for high visitor numbers. In addition to market and location analyses, our day-to-day business includes contract negotiations and assistance in drawing up contracts.

Property management

The property management department looks after and manages our commercial and private properties in a variety of ways. This involves the organization of all infrastructural, technical and commercial matters. In addition to basic administrative tasks, the scope of duties also includes the preparation and review of business plans, the monitoring of maintenance projects and the management of tenancy agreements.

Center Management

This is where real organizational talent is needed. The focus is on satisfied tenants and satisfied customers. From professional marketing to ensuring smooth operations and responsibility for technical operations - our center management is a separate unit within the company and ensures the center's positioning on the market. In our trainee program, we prepare you specifically for the daily challenges of a center manager.


Through business analysis and evaluations of current project developments, our investment analysts determine the individual financing requirements and develop a suitable financing concept. In addition to financial market analyses and acquisition reviews, you will be in continuous contact with financial institutions and maintain sustainable relationships with regard to the acquisition of equity and external capital.

Legal- and Contract Department

As a service-providing support department, the Legal and Contract Department is responsible for full legal compliance for the entire HGHI and its departments. It shapes contractual relationships within and outside the Group, defends unjustified third-party claims out of court and in court, and enforces HGHI's claims against third parties. This involves all areas of real estate and construction law as well as related legal fields such as corporate law and general civil law.

Human Resources / Organization

The Human Resources & Organization department is a strategic partner of management, shaping and supporting the transformation of the company and thus making a significant contribution to sustainable corporate development. In addition to recruiting new employees, the HR department takes care of all administrative tasks and the concerns of individual employees. This also includes the organization of professional development in the form of training courses and workshops.


Our accountants are the basis for decisions to act. They support our property companies from financial accounting to the preparation of interim financial statements and reporting. Whether cost control, organization of accounting or control of cash flow, our accountants are specialists when it comes to financial and tax matters.

Dual studies / apprenticeship / internships

We create a solid foundation for your career. High school and college graduates can gain professional work experience with us in the form of an apprenticeship, dual study program or internship. You will pass through various specialist departments and gain a comprehensive insight into the successful development and management of large-scale real estate. High school graduates can complete a three-year dual bachelor's degree program in business administration with a focus on real estate management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR).

Corporate Communication

The Corporate Communications department is responsible for the internal and external appearance of HGHI. Here you will get to know the entire repertoire of communication and marketing. Whether strategic press relations, editorial control of the websites and social media channels, creation of brochures and flyers or organization of events and trade fairs - the areas of responsibility are as varied and exciting as the individual projects of HGHI itself. The development of and compliance with CI guidelines complete the range of tasks.
